Not Just another coffee shop

The sweet smell of pastries and the aroma of smokey rich coffee penetrates my nose and awakens my senses as I walk in the door.  I choose a table, sit down, and look up at the menu.   Your classic coffee shop menu on the wall offers not just the usual choices, but an array of creative and invigorating flavors and combinations.  Not wanting coffee and deciding its way too early to have gelato (which they have in stock), I order a acai bowl and take a seat.

 Affagato Europa Café is located off Plank Road in the shopping center behind CVS and Fredericksburg Baptist Church and School.  To my surprise I learn they’ve been opened for about a year and half.  If you’re on this side of town I recommend stopping in and sampling something from their menu, Coffee, Smoothies, Pastries, Paninis, Gelato!  I settle in , open my computer and dig into my acai bow; quite delighted to have found this gem.
